Waltzingmouse November Pyjama Party

Decided it was time to get back to blogging again and this months PJ party was just the push I needed!!
So here goes with my projects.....

Challenge 1......Thankyou

My mum doesn't read this blog so I can show you this!! I've made a box of cards for her with a selection of Thankyou and birthday cards in it.
I used the 2 step floral sprig set and a selection of stampin up inks.

Challenge 2....a Christmas card

Here's the front of my card....
and here's how it looks when open.
This was my first go at an accordion card and I'm very pleased with it!

Close up of the panels using Very Vintage labels no.1, Santa from Night before Christmas and Bountiful baskets additions. The card was made using a  sizzix accordion die.

Challenge 4....Deck those halls

A star wreath.
I used Vintage Christmas background stamp to make patterned card and then cut out lots of stars!
A bit of scoring and folding in front of the TV  to make the stars 3D then I glued them to a circle of card and added some buttons to finish.
Hope you like my efforts...I had fun making them.

  1. Sarah, these all scream Christmas! Beautiful thank you card set for 'mum'. Your 1st accordion card? Can't believe it. Wonderful graphics. (Wish I was getting this!) But the star wreath? An art-piece! Love them all!

  2. Oh, your projects are all lovely. But your star wreath is absolutely fabolous!!

  3. Wow...what a show stopper of a post! That wreath is about as beautiful as they come! Your accordion card is so fun and festive...

  4. What stunning projects Sarah...the accordion card looks amazing (you'll have to make sure the recipient has a big mantelpiece for that one!) and the wreath must have taken ages!

  5. Well, I am so glad you decided to blog again … these are some amazing projects. wow!! Love the star wreath , that fantastic card with all the moving windows … wow its all so festive ! So glad I stopped in today! TFS

  6. All your proects are gorgeous, but the wreath is a real stunner.

  7. Wow Sarah! so glad you came to the PJ party to share these wonderful creations! love that accordion fold and the stamps you used on the panels - your star wreath is gorgeous!! and the floral cards for your mum are so pretty in the colors you used!

  8. If your wreath is a gigantic winner...I will be shocked! That looks like it was so much work, but so worth it. It is beautiful!

  9. Good grief Sarah, you must have started making the moment the first invite went up, an incredible amount of work, i will be back to check out the how to of that accordian card when I have more time - it looks awesome! The wreath is superb and I love how you used the little sprig stamp on your mums card to make that trailing vine all over the front of the card!! Super show missy! Thank you so much for coming to our PJ party!

  10. wow, your creations are glad you joined us at WM to play along in the PP! I had to pop over and clarify "Black Friday", in the USA it is the busiest shopping day of the year(the day after Thanksgiving)the stores are overflowing, sales and shopping starting at midnight. We call it Black Friday because it is said it is the one day of the year, merchants books will be in the black, no longer in the red. Hope this helps you to understand, it is actually a great day, we always go out shopping to get into the hussle and bussle of the season!

  11. Everything is so very beautiful and the accordion card turned out just wonderful!! I want to try one too!

  12. Yikes... fabulous!! Love the fancy card... not sure what the technique is... it's wonderful!! And the wreath... need to give you my address... would love to hang it up!!

  13. Your mum will really love the cards! The star wreath is fab and the interactive Christmas card rocks!

  14. Your star wreath is a true work of art!
